Jessica Lucas Will Wreak Havoc on 'Gotham' + Tyra Ferrell Will Cross Paths w/ the Lyon Family on 'Empire'

Jessica Lucas has booked a series regular role on the upcoming season of Fox’s Batman prequel series, “Gotham,” playing a character named Tabitha Galavan, Tigress, a.k.a, who is said to be the lead enforcer for her brother Theo, a billionaire industrialist hell-bent on taking over Gotham.

She’s further described as “sexy and violent,” and carries a bullwhip, deriving pleasure from the mayhem she’s tasked with making. Motivated by a vendetta, both Tabitha and her brother Theo Galavan (to be played by James Frain) plan to cause chaos in Gotham City, which will lead to the origins of the Batman villains their characters will eventually become.

Jessica Lucas is a Canadian actress and singer. She is likely best known for her roles in television, on “Melrose Place,” “Edgemont” and “Cult,” and in the movies “She’s the Man,” “Cloverfield” and “Evil Dead.”

And secondly, Tyra Ferrell has joined the cast of another Fox series – “Empire – in a recurring role during the hit soap opera’s upcoming second season.

Ferrell has signed up to play a lawyer who crosses paths with the Lyon family. Although, in what way, we don’t yet know.

Ferrell most recently starred in the Tasha Smith-directed short film “Boxed In,” which screened at the ABFF earlier this month.

The veteran actress is known for her roles in films like “Boyz n the Hood,” “Jungle Fever,” “White Men Can’t Jump,” “Poetic Justice” and others.
