At the Las Vegas dance music festival, Electric Daisy
Carnival, the British trance crew, Above & Beyond, prepared to play their
song, “Walter White.” But when the music momentarily stopped, a familiar face crossed
the stage. Bryan Cranston, revealing he is not quite done with the character Walter
White made a surprise appearance.
In Heisenberg-esque fashion, he said into the
microphone, “Say my name.” The reference to one of the most famous “Breaking Bad”
lines ever stirred the crowd and proved Cranston has a keen sense of timing. Following an
explosion of cheers, he said, “You’re goddamn right.” Above & Beyond previously revealed that “Breaking Bad” is their favorite show.
The Emmy winner went on to push the button that started the
song on the stage’s sound system. Dancing and jumping up and down on the stage
with the crew, Cranston took home the award for coolest dad on Father’s Day. “Breaking Bad” may be over, but Cranston gave the lucky crowd a chance to relive
the series through music.
