Central’s Hilarious FYC Ad

Following 2014’s record-breaking year of Emmy nominations, Comedy Central wants serious consideration this year, and to prove it is showcasing their surplus of comedic talent. The shows featured in the above trailer, and eligible for an Emmy nomination, include “Inside Amy Schumer,” “The Colbert Report,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” “Key and Peele,” “Workaholics,” “South Park,” “Broad City,” “Big Time in Hollywood, FL,” “Tosh.O,” “The Nightly Show,” “Drunk History,” “@Midnight,” “Nathan For You” and “Kroll Show.”

This year should be interesting for the network, as “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” are in their last seasons and will both be competing for Best Variety Talk Series. But in general, with plenty of new talent and big names, such as Amy Schumer, in its line-up of comedic talent, we have high hopes for Comedy Central this year. Watch the trailer above, and start catching up on the shows you might have missed.
