Watch 'Pink Moon,' a Short Film Where Heterosexuals are Persecuted and Abortion Is Forbidden

On the heels of its premiere at the Miami LGBT Film Festival last April, Sal Bardo’s thought provoking “Pink Moon” has been released online for us all to take in.

Starring Brandon Tyler Harris (“Blue Bloods,” “The Big C,” “Smash”), Adam Jepsen (currently appearing in Chicago on Broadway), Cole Johnston, and NBC News correspondent Thomas Roberts as himself, the film details the story two teens who are forced to hide an unplanned pregnancy in a society where heterosexuals are persecuted and abortion is forbidden.

“I’m really excited to be putting the film online,” Bardo said. “Normally I would wait until the film festival season is over, but I’m eager to let everyone see it. And with the U.S. Supreme Court poised to potentially make a huge decision on marriage equality very soon, and with women’s reproductive rights under attack across the country in ways they haven’t been in decades, the themes feel especially relevant right now.”
