'Game Of Thrones' Leads The 2015 Emmy Awards Pack With 24 Nominations

Here’s something that really shouldn’t be a surprise: the biggest show on television also nabbed the most Emmy nominations today. HBO is likely popping some corks as the network’s “Game Of Thrones” led the pack of contenders today with 24 nominations alone for the fantasy hit. Meanwhile, Netflix had reason to celebrate too as they 36 nominations to claim, including nods for “Daredevil” and underdog “Bloodline.”

Among the very, very crowded pack of contenders, there are lots of pleasant surprises to be found, including nods for Kyle Chandler and Ben Mendelsohn in “Bloodline,” and cult fave Tatiana Maslany for “Orphan Black.” And while they didn’t get in any of the big categories, “Daredevil” got some below the line love as well. And in probably the most headscratching nomination, the critically trashed “Grace Of Monaco,” got nominated for Outstanding Television Movie. Nice work, Harv.
