Chris Evans is taking a step away from “Captain America” and showing his sensitive side for his directorial debut “Before We Go,” which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

In the film, Evans stars as Pete, who runs into Abby (Alice Eve) at Grand Central Station after she becomes stranded. As Pete tries to help her, the two wind up spending the night adventuring through New York City and finding romance along the way. “Before We Go” also stars Mark Kassen and Emma Fitzpatrick

The film will hit VOD on July 21 and will premiere in select theaters on September 4. Check out the trailer above, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies
