If you haven’t yet seen “The Knick,” HBO is going to be make it pretty damn easy to catch up. On August 10th, HBO2 will present a marathon viewing of the first season starting at noon. However, if that doesn’t fit your schedule, not to worry because on August 14th the first season will arrive on HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand, as well as online affiliate portals, for a limited ten-week run. Basically, do what you can to get up to speed, because “The Knick” is one of the finest shows on the air and if this teaser for the second season is anything to go by, when it returns this fall, it’s going to be great stuff.
When we left Clive Owen‘s Dr. John W. Thackery at the end of the first season he was in some dire straights, but it looks like he’s back at The Knick, and the story seems to be expanding. San Francisco and quarantine measures are in effect from what we can glimpse, while there is still plenty of action back in New York City.
No word yet on exact story details, but once again it looks like Steven Soderbergh is firing on all cylinders, so we can’t wait. “The Knick” arrives on October 16th on Cinemax. Watch below. [Slashfilm]
