Mara Wilson Vs. Roland Emmerich: Stonewall Wasn’t One of His Parties for ‘Young, Fit, White, Gay Men’

Mara Wilson Vs. Roland Emmerich: Stonewall Wasn’t One of His Parties for ‘Young, Fit, White, Gay Men’

The controversy surrounding Roland Emmerich’s upcoming "Stonewall" movie has found an unlikely new voice: Former child actress Mara Wilson (of "Matilda" and "Mrs. Doubtfire" fame).

Wilson took to Twitter to tie the allegations of whitewashing in "Stonewall" to Emmerich’s infamous parties with Bryan Singer

“Has anyone told Roland Emmerich that Stonewall wasn’t one of the parties at his house exclusively for young, fit, white, gay men[?], Go ahead and have your parties, but don’t try to alter history. It’s just sad. Emmerich has said it was the studios that made him change it, buuuuut somehow I’m not buying it.”

Who knew Ms. Wilson was so in the know?
