Mistress America,” Noah Baumbach’s new comedy-drama about two future step-sisters forming a bond as one helps pull the other out of her loneliness, has a new trailer.

The film, co-written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, follows Tracy (Lola Kirke) —  a college freshman who finds her previous idealizations of New York City life to be far from reality — who, upon arriving for college in the city, finds her life lonely and disappointing rather than glamorous and exciting. She connects with her soon-to-be-step-sister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig), who is in the midst of enthusiastically living what appears to be the essential millennial New York lifestyle. Their friendship grows as the pair explore New York and Tracy falls more and more into Brooke’s schemes and adventures.

The film will open in select theaters on August 14. Check out the new trailer above, thanks to Yahoo!.
