Watch: Martin Scorsese's HBO Rock 'N Roll Drama 'Vinyl' Releases First Teaser
“Vinyl,” the upcoming HBO drama executive produced by Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter, only just recently received its name. Now, the production also has its first teaser — on Instagram of all places.
Terence Winter (“Wolf of Wall Street”) is writing the series, whose pilot will be directed by Scorsese (just as it was for the duo’s last project, “Boardwalk Empire”). The show will follow Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), the head of a fictional record label, and his wife, Devon (Olivia Wilde), as they work to navigate the tempestuous music production industry in the 1970s. Joining the cast are Mick Jagger’s son, James, as well as Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, P.J. Byrne, Paul Ben-Victor, Ato Essandoh, Ray Romano and more.
“Vinyl” is scheduled for release in 2016 on HBO.
