The TIFF feature “London Fields,” directed by Matthew Cullen, has been acquired by Lionsgate for U.S. distribution. The film stars Amber Heard and Theo James and premieres this weekend.
“London Fields” is adapted from Martin Amis’ novel of the same name and follows young psychic Nicola Six as she tries to orchestrate her own murder, enlisting the help of Keith, a petty criminal, Guy, a bored millionaire, and Samson, an American novelist. As the four personalities collide, they scheme to take what they can from each other, fuelled by Guy’s money, Samson’s perverse sense of drama and everybody’s lust.
The film also features Cara Delevigne, Gemma Chan, Jamie Alexander and Jason Isaacs in supporting roles. “London Fields” premieres this weekend at TIFF.
