MoMI Announces Frederick Wiseman Retrospective, Including First Look at 'In Jackson Heights'

The Museum of the Moving Image has announced the schedule for its Frederick Wiseman retrospective, running from October 9 – November 7. The event will feature seven of the prolific documentarian’s films focusing on New York City, including “Ballet,” “Central Park,” and “High School II.” The retrospective also includes a discussion with Wiseman about his films and a first look at his latest documentary, “In Jackson Heights.”

The full schedule is as follows:

Friday, October 9, 7:00 P.M.
“Hospital”
Saturday, October 10, 3:00 P.M.

“Welfare”
Sunday, October 11, 3:15 P.M.

“Racetrack”
Saturday, October 17, 3:00 P.M.

“Model”
Saturday, October 24, 3:00 P.M. 

“Central Park”
Sunday, October 25, 3:00 P.M. 

An Evening with Frederick Wiseman
Wednesday, October 28, 7:00 P.M. 

“High School II”
Saturday, October 31, 3:00 P.M. 

The retrospective will run from October 9 – November 7 at MoMI. Additional information and advance tickets can be found at the museum’s official website. “In Jackson Heights” will screen at Film Forum on November 4.
