Screen Talk: Toronto Yields Loads of Intel on State of Oscars and Indie Marketplace

What scored at the Toronto Film Festival? We debate the merits and strengths of a wide swath of movies, from "Spotlight" and "Our Brand is Crisis" to "Room," "45 Years," and "Anomalisa." Music docs did well, from Amy Berg’s "Janis: Little Girl Blue" to Barbara Kopple’s "Miss Sharon Jones."

And as far as "Beasts of No Nation" goes, who is really resisting Netflix? Eric and I agree that it should be seen on the big screen.
