Vote for Project of the Week: Will It Be 'Spectrographs and Soliloquies,' 'Restarting the Motor City,' 'Papa's Shadow,' or 'Brothers'?

The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for September Project of the Month. That winner will be in the running for Project of the Year.

The four projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page.

Spectrographs and Soliloquies: A cosmic tale about coming to terms with life and death in the face of extraordinary circumstances.

Restarting the Motor City: A film about the future of Detroit, and the role that entrepreneurs – from high-growth tech startups to the shop in West Village – play in rewriting this city’s narrative.

Papa’s Shadow: Featuring exclusive testimony by Ernest’s son, Patrick Hemingway, “Papa’s Shadow” explores the integral role of two safaris in the shaping of an author and demise of a legend.

Brothers: The first scripted series, either broadcast or online, to not only feature narratives about transgender men, but also cast trans actors in the main roles.

Voting will end Monday, September 28 at 11 a.m. ET.
