Thrills and laughs abound in the horror-comedy pastiche “The Editor,” which tells the story of Rey Ciso, a veteran film editor who, after a gruesome accident, has only one hand. After a series of grisly murders, Rey becomes a prime suspect and must clear his name.
In the exclusive scene above, Margarit, accompanied only by her seeing-eye dog and a skimpy silk kimono, is trapped by an unknown assailant. Her boyfriend, meanwhile, attempts to save her by breaking down the door with an axe. Unfortunately for him, and even more so for Margarit, the gloved hand has placed her head dangerously close to the doorway that her chop-happy boyfriend has decided to break down.
“The Editor” is directed by Matthew Kennedy and Adam Brooks and stars Paz de la Huerta. The film is available On Demand.
