“The Armor of Light” is a documentary that questions the possibility of being both pro-gun and pro-life. It follows the journey faced by an Evangelical minister and a mother of a teenage shooting victim who try to understand gun culture in America through a moral point of view. The films marks the directorial debut of the world-renowned Disney family’s Abigail Disney.

“I made ‘The Armor of Light’ not to continue the same pro/anti-gun debates we’ve been having for years, but to elevate that debate into a dialogue between many different camps,” said the director. “A dialogue isn’t possible without all the players at the table, so we’re making these tickets available in the hopes that members of the National Rifle Association will join in this needed conversation.”

The program to give away free tickets to NRA members will begin in advance of the the film’s nationwide release on October 30. Tickets will be distributed in various cities including Dallas, Tampa and Denver for audience members who show their NRA cards. A full list of theaters and information about the promotion is available at the film’s website.
