Einar Baldvin's "The Pride of Strathmoor"

Winner at Slamdance, and an Official Selection at Annecy, Ottawa, Stutgart, Zagreb and Telluride. Direct from the festival circuit, animator Einar Baldvin’s The Pride of Strathmoor is now online.

Disturbing in several ways, the short uses "extracts from the journal of Pastor John Deitman, Strathmoor, Georgia. from June & July, 1927" to evoke Poe in its nightmarish portrayal of racial tensions in the deep south. The film was produced at USC Cinematic Arts.
