Meryl Streep to Lead Next Year's Berlin Jury

Meryl Streep will lead the jury at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, Feb. 11-21, 2016. The three-time Oscar winner (and 19-time nominee) can also strike another item off what must now be a very short career to-do list: it will be her first time serving as a festival juror.

Streep, who received an honorary Golden Bear for lifetime achievement at the Berlinale in 2012, and shared a Silver Bear with co-stars Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore for 2003’s “The Hours,” currently appears in the British period political drama “Suffragette,” which opens in U.S. theaters later this month, and rocked out this summer in Jonathan Demme’s “Ricki and the Flash.”
