Cinema Eye has announced the nominees for their 9th Annual Nonfiction Film Awards.

Cartel Land” received the most nominations, Outstanding Feature, Direction, Production and Cinematography. The rest of the films receiving nominees for the top honor of Outstanding Feature are “The Look of Silence,” “Amy,” “The Wolfpack,” “Listen to Marlon,” and “Democrats.”

Notable directing nominees include the late Albert Maysles, Laurie Anderson and Frederick Wiseman, while controversial Scientology documentary “Going Clear” picked up a production nominee.
