Oscar Winner Ron Howard to Give Free Talk on 'In The Heart of the Sea'

The beloved Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, whose credits include “A Beautiful Mind” and “Frost/Nixon,” will partner with the Film Society of Lincoln Center to offer a free talk on his new film, “In the Heart of the Sea.”

Howard’s latest features Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland and Ben Whishaw in a film that explores the true-life story that served as the inspiration for Herman Melville’s “Moby-Dick.” 

The director will sit down on November 22 to discuss his career both as an actor and a director. He’ll also offer insight into the making of his new epic adventure drama.

Free Film Society Talks are sponsored by HBO and include both an extended conversation from the filmmaker, as well as an audience Q&A period. 

“In the Heart of the Sea” will open in theaters December 11. Watch the trailer above.
