Watch: The Hilarious, Slo-Mo Sloths of Disney's 'Zootopia' (TRAILER)

The official trailer for Disney’s upcoming up “Zootopia,” from
directors Byron Howard (“Bolt”) and Rich Moore
(“Wreck-It-Ralph”), features anthropomorphized talking animals—no humans—living in a utopian modern world complete with clothing and
technology.

In the film, Jason Bateman voices a “sly fox” con man dogged by
a “dumb bunny” cop (Ginnifer Goodwin) trying to solve a missing
mammal case. In one scene, excerpted in the trailer above, he takes the bunny to a DMV run by slow-mo sloths (It rings all too true.) In another, the diminutive fox insists on buying a giant cone at
an elephant ice cream parlor.

The movie is playing with
“stereotype and bias themes,” Disney/Pixar chief creative officer John Lasseter said at the studios Cannes preview this spring, as well as the idea that
“natural enemies can work together.” “Zootopia,” in 3D, arrives in theaters March 4, 2016.
