‘Fargo’ Wins Hitfix TV Critics Poll, Again

'Fargo' Wins Hitfix TV Critics Poll, Again

HitFix polled 53 TV critics on the best new and returning shows, and the winner, as it was last year, is FX’s “Fargo.” Four other shows repeated from last year’s Top 10: “The Americans,” “Mad Men,” “Transparent” and “Game of Thrones.” For returning shows, the biggest jumps were last year’s 21 and 22, “Veep” and “The Leftovers,” which moved up to 10th and 7th place, respectively. Dropping out of last year’s Top 10: “Orange Is the New Black,” “Broad City,” and “True Detective,” which plummeted from 5th to 89th place.

New to the list this year were “Better Call Saul,” “Mr. Robot,” and “The Jinx,” all placing in the Top 10 in their first (and, in the case of “The Jinx,” only) season. Best new show, not surprisingly, was “Better Call Saul,” although “Master of None,” 11 on the main list, vaulted over the “Mr. Robot” and “The Jinx” to place second in that category.

A list of voting critics is here, and you can click through to read the individual ballots. Who put “The Big Bang Theory” in their Top 10? Browse and see.
