PODCAST: What We Learned About TV From Our Favorite 2015 Interviews

“I’m not going to share any stories because I don’t remember half of them and the rest are too dirty to talk about.”

Some stars are cagey — like Kyle Chandler, when he playfully said the above during an interview with Indiewire in early 2015 — but many are open books. The fun part is, you can learn a lot from both of them. In our efforts to summarize a long and busy year in TV, Indiewire has been looking back on past projects, including the interviews we conducted this year. Our primary purpose is for an upcoming story summarizing the best quotes of the year, but the TV team used the research to highlight a few choice full-length interviews.

Indiewire TV Editor Liz Shannon Miller chose her favorite interviews conducted by Indiewire TV Critic Ben Travers, and Mr. Travers did the same for Ms. Miller. Below are their choices:

Raphael Bob-Waksberg
Adam Reed (touring the “Archer” headquarters)
Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta
David Simon & Paul Haggis
Gillian Anderson
David Duchovny
Bruce Campbell & Sam Raimi
Amy Brenneman
Ann Dowd
Rob Lowe
