Canadian director Atom Egoyan returns with “Remember,” an unconventional revenge story that sees an elderly Holocaust survivor embarking on a cross-continental mission to murder the former Auschwitz commander who was responsible for the death of both his families. The film stars Christopher Plummer (“Beginners”), Martin Landau (“Ed Wood”), Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”) and Bruno Ganz (“Downfall”) and is the latest in a series of partnerships between by distributor A24 and DIRECTV.

The exclusive clip above depicts a tense moment in which Zev, a senile German Jew played Plummer, visits an American as he goes through his father’s prized collection of Nazi paraphernalia. When he reveals a Nazi flag that once hung on Kristallnacht, the haunting memories come flooding back to Zev in spite of his advancing old age.

As of today, “Remember” is exclusively available for 72-hour rental for DIRECTV customers, two months before it hits theaters on February 12.
