With the awakening of the new “Star Wars” movie just around the corner, Mark Hamill took to Hollywood Boulevard disguised as a Stormtrooper to inform fans of the chance to meet the cast of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at the film’s premiere for a donation as little as $10.
Hosted by Omaze, all proceeds from the fundraising campaign will benefit 15 different charity organizations chosen by the cast and filmmakers. To fuel fundraising, two lucky donors will be able to attend the premiere in either Los Angeles or London with three friends and will have a chance to meet cast members, walk the red carpet, attend the after-party and experience the magic of “Star Wars” on the silver screen for the first time in 10 years. All expenses for flights and a four-star hotel are included.
Meanwhile, Harrison Ford stopped by “The Tonight Show” for some serious waterworks with Jimmy Fallon. The Academy Award-nominee explains how J.J. Abrams dislocated his ankle on the set of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” using a Han Solo action figure (though hopefully it’s not as rough as he makes it look).
