Watch: 'Twin Peaks' Returns to Showtime and the Woods in 2017 (Because Location Matters)

Twin Peaks,” you guys. It’s really happening. This new teaser from Showtime — which confirms that we won’t be seeing the series debut until 2017 — features Michael Horse (who played Deputy Hawk in the original series, but since then might have gotten a promotion for the show’s revival) musing on the importance of the show’s return to the Pacific Northwest, where the original ABC series was filmed.
Combining both elements of what we’ve come to love with “Twin Peaks” — haunting beauty and unsettling creepiness — this short tease is a reminder that when the show returns, it will do so with a full commitment to capturing what made the original oh so special. Check out the video above.
