About the Film:
“According to her” is in turn a movie about motherhood, social isolation, and New York’s work culture with its unrivaled pressure for success. At first, it’s a cruel tale about two people who deeply love each other, yet let the bullying of their own milieu take an exorbitant toll on their lives. But beyond the narrative, what I tried to do with “According to her,” is to give a voice to women around me: modern women, New York women, women from immigration, educated women, mothers, singles, ambitious or unassuming, often battling with irreconcilable choices.

Current Status: “According to her” will premiere at Cinequest on Saturday March 5th.
