Berlinale Adds 'Better Call Saul,' TV Series from Nick Hornby and Susanne Bier, to 2016 Lineup

The second season of “Breaking Bad” spinoff “Better Call Saul” (AMC) and new TV series from writer Nick Hornby (Oscar-nominated for “Brooklyn”) and director Susanne Bier (“In a Better World”) highlight the 66th Berlin International Film Festival’s Special Series lineup. The festival runs from February 11 – 21.

Bier’s adaptation of John le Carré’s spy thriller, “The Night
Manager” (AMC), which airs stateside in April, stars Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Laurie; Hornby’s “Love, Nina,” with Helena Bonham Carter, explores 1980s London through the eyes of a young woman. In addition, “Drama Series Days” — a joint initiative of the European Film Market, the Berlinale
Co-Production Market, and Berlinale Talents — welcomes creators, buyers, sales agents, producers, commissioning
editors and financial backers of high-quality drama to discuss, present and
