Ira Sachs Returns in First Look Photos for Sundance Premiere 'Little Men'

Ira Sachs has been one of the most reliable directors at the Sundance Film Festival for the past several years, which makes it only natural that he’ll premiere his latest film, “Little Men,” in just a few short weeks in Park City.

“Little Men” is Sachs’ sixth feature film to date, and Sachs’ third time around writing with Mauricio Zacharias, who had previously worked with the acclaimed director on “Keep the Lights On” and “Love is Strange.” Sachs’ latest film tells the story of 13-year-old Jake and his tumultuous move away from his familiar Manhattan home to the new and unknown Brooklyn. It is here in Brooklyn that Jake grows to understand what freedom is and he gains a fledging friendship that soon grows to be threatened after his parents hike up the leasing rent of his friend’s mother’s salon.

“Little Men” is set for a worldwide premiere on January 25 at the Eccles Theatre during the Sundance Film Festival. Check out the first look photos below:
