The Sundance Institute has announced the appointment of Jared Hendler as their new Director of Marketing and Communications. Working out of the Institute’s Los Angeles office, he’s set to oversee all external communications for the Institute, including supervision of marketing, social media and media relations.
As a part of the Senior Leadership group, Hendler will supervise brand strategies, find ways to grow constituencies and launch new collaborations for artists within the Institute. He will report to Executive Director Keri Putnam.

Hendler has worked as Founding Partner at Brand Content Agency, Global Director Digital & Creative at MWW Group and Executive Creative Director. He holds a BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
