Vote for Project of the Week: Will It Be 'The Passing Season,' 'Chase the Ball,' 'Poor Mama's Boy,' or 'According to her'?

The winning filmmaker will become a candidate for January Project of the Month. That winner will receive a Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 12 License and will be in the running for Project of the Year.

The four projects up for this week’s Project of the Week are listed below (with descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers). You can vote at the bottom of the page.

The Passing Season: When his professional hockey career comes to a sudden end, Sam returns to his hometown and tries to escape into an earlier, more exciting time in his life.
Chase the Ball: A touching animated short about everlasting friendship between a dog and his tennis ball.

Poor Mama’s Boy: Set in rural Arkansas, Poor Mama’s Boy tells the story of a neglected 17-year-old who is suspected in the disappearance of a young girl, but soon discovers the truth may sacrifice the only thing he holds dear…his family.

According to her: Love, motherhood and a musical career strike dissonant chords in this dark tale of a young Russian woman who tries to keep her balance among wealthy French expats in New York.

Voting will end Monday, February 1 at 5 p.m. ET.
