There hasn’t been a single interview, speech or profile in which Leonardo DiCaprio and Alejandro G. Iñárritu haven’t discussed just how tumultuous the shoot of their wilderness epic “The Revenant” was. The hellish production has been widely publicized, but now 20th Century Fox has put all the profiles to rest by releasing “A World Unseen” for free on YouTube.

The 44-minute behind-the-scenes documentary brings the viewer right to the production itself for an in-depth look at the process of what actually went into filming some of the most taxing sequences of “The Revenant.” Interviews with Iñárritu and DiCaprio are interspersed throughout, along with commentary provided by the production team and the historians who fully fleshed out the film’s background.
