The delinquents from Paddy’s Pub are at it again, reveling in the garish excess of the ’80s in this promotional clip for the new season. The decade of their childhood and adolescence is revisited with love and affection by the South Philly natives, complete with an over-enthusiastic narrator, a greedy ski resort owner and bikini-clad blonde bimbos. With noticeable nods to “Porky’s,” “Better Off Dead,” and “Hot Dog…The Movie,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is keen on keeping themselves fresh by parodying the films and TV shows that the creators grew up loving.

The fun doesn’t seem like it will stop anytime soon, as series creator Rob McElhenney (who plays Mac on the show) has acknowledged the fact that he would likely keep the show going, noting that “the audiences is still there. I don’t know why we’d stop.”

Catch the new episodes of this season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on Wednesdays at 10pm on FXX.
