Four years ago, Spike Lee captured Michael Jackson’s legacy in “Bad 25.” In 2016, he returns with the new documentary “Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off the Wall,” which follows the impact of his popular album “Off the Wall.” The album that shot Jackson into stardom includes hits like “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough,” “Rock With You” and “She’s Out of My Life.”

The doc, which was picked up by Showtime recently for its world television premiere, features archival concert footage of Jackson and interviews from famous musicians including Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Mark Ronson and members of the Jackson family.

The movie will premiere later this month at the Sundance Film Festival. Showtime will air the documentary on February 5.
