Last night, Hollywood gathered around together, got drunk, and gave each other Golden Globes Awards. For all we know, “The Revenant” team might still be celebrating, after taking home a trio of top prizes with Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. But if you politely and perhaps wisely avoided sitting through the three-hour plus broadcast, and just want to catch up with the highlights, we’ve got you covered.

Ricky Gervais returned as host for the fourth time and was delightfully indifferent about the whole ceremony. Walking on stage with a beer, he threw some jabs around at Sean Penn, Caitlyn Jenner, and others. As for the actual show, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg memorably presented Best Screenplay, Jim Carrey ad libbed a great bit as he presented Best Motion Picture — Comedy, while Denzel Washington was a delight taking home the Cecil B. DeMille award. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio‘s reaction after getting caught in the path of Lady Gaga created the most instantly gif-able moment of the evening.
