Watch: Slippin' Jimmy Is Back In New Trailer For Season 2 Of 'Better Call Saul'

It might not have sucked up the pop culture oxygen of its predecessor “Breaking Bad,” but as far as spin-offs go, “Better Call Saul” was far more “Frasier” than “Joey.” It would have been easy for the show, focusing on the origins of ‘Bad’’s amoral attorney Saul Goodman, to be some quippy legal procedural, but in the hands of creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, it was much more interesting: a sort of slow-motion family tragedy that eschewed fan service and showy plotting in favor of a smart, sad morality tale.

It was also a decided hit, and just a few weeks away from a second season, our best glimpse of it has arrived in the shape of a new trailer (courtesy of Shortlist).

It promises to pick up where Season 1 left off, with Jimmy McGill betrayed by his brother, grieving his con-partner Marco, and seeming abandoning whatever principles he might have, once again teaming up with Mike (Jonathan Banks). It doesn’t look like a beat has been skipped, and we’re excited to catch up with the show when it arrives on Monday February 15th.
