"Belladonna of Sadness"

Among the great lost works of cinema is the tantalizingly psychedelic "Belladonna of Sadness." Eiichi Yamamoto’s Japanese animated film has been missing since the 1970s and is finally being distributed stateside my Cinelicious Pics in May.

"Born to Be Blue"

Hawke looks excellent as Chet Baker in Robert Budreau’s upcoming drama. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and co-stars Carmen Ejogo and Callum Keith Rennie. IFC Films will release the drama in theaters on March 25 and on VOD starting March 31.

"Midnight Special"

Hot off a much talked-about Berlin International Film Festival premiere just last week, Jeff Nichols’ long-anticipated sci-fi outing "Midnight Special" has a brand new trailer to show off. The film will next screen at SXSW and will open in the U.S. on March 18.

"The Path" Season 1

Snakes, sex and set-ups populate a fascinating new trailer for the upcoming Hulu drama from "Friday Night Lights" producer Jason Katims. "The Path" premieres March 30 exclusively on Hulu. 

"Florence Foster Jenkins"

Meryl Streep stars as notorious British socialite deemed the worst vocalist of all time. Paramount Pictures will release the film domestically, though no official U.S. release date has been set.
