Michael Keaton is 'The Founder' in Debut Poster for Anticipated McDonald's Biopic

If you are tired of seeing Michael Keaton’s name come Oscar season, we have some bad news. “The Founder” just released a slick new poster and the film already looks to be riding Keaton’s wave of popularity into yet another awards season.

The film tells the story of Ray Kroc (Keaton), a Midwestern salesman who franchised out the burger chain owned by Mac and Dick McDonald in the 1950s. In the hands of “The Blind Side” director John Lee Hancock, “The Founder” is sure to document the trials and tribulations that turned McDonalds into a household name. 

Supporting Keaton are a cast of crowd pleasers, including Nick Offerman, BJ Novak, Laura Dern and Linda Cardellini. 

“The Founder” is scheduled to release on August 5. Check out the poster below.
