Great use of music can often lead to great trailers. This new trailer for SXSW premiere “Long Nights Short Mornings” is a great trailer.
Using Peter and The Wolf’s “Scarlet and Gray” sets the mood perfectly for the range of emotions displayed in these short 90 seconds, surely getting audiences excited about the possibility of the final film.
“Long Nights Short Mornings” is the latest from writer-director Chadd Harbold, and chronicles one man’s romantic endeavors in New York City. James (Shiloh Fernandez) just can’t seem to navigate the muddy waters of relationships and hook-ups in the city. The catch here is that the film only shows his interactions with women, and we never see him alone or with other men. Hopefully the film is as dynamic as the teaser makes it out to be.
“Long Nights Short Mornings” is screening in the Narrative Spotlight Section at SXSW. Watch the trailer above.
