This summer, there are two remakes/revivals that are promising to bring you back into the jungle with epic fanfare. First, there’s Disney‘s “The Jungle Book” which adds a sizable budget and live action to the animated movie you loved as a kid. After that, “The Legend Of Tarzan” revives the famous hero for the current age, and a new trailer has swung in for the latter.
Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou star in the movie which will find a civilized Lord Greystoke brought back to his roots when he returns to the Congo. Here’s the official synopsis:
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left thejungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
