Watch: 'See the North' Trailer Wants You to Experience Great Canadian Film

Heads up, Americans! Some great Canadian films are coming our way, thanks to a new collaboration between the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Telefilm Canada.  “See The North” is a brand-new series consisting of six Canadian films, all being brought on tour for the first time to the U.S. this April. The tour kicks off April 1 through 3 at the IFC Center in NYC.

Featured films in the series include “Into the Forest” (starring Ellen Page), “Closet Monster” and “Sleeping Giant,” among others.

“Canadian movies and Canadian talent have proven themselves among the best in the world,” said TIFF artistic director Cameron Bailey in a statement. “‘See the North’ is America’s chance to catch up with some of today’s most inventive filmmakers, who happen to be working just north of the border.”

Further tour details will be released this summer. Watch the trailer above.
