The controversial R&B singer Chris Brown has faced his fair share of legal trouble, not to mention widespread public backlash, due to his criminal history. He was involved in a highly publicized domestic violence case against his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, as well as numerous violent altercations with other artists like Drake and Frank Ocean. His probation stemming from the Rihanna assault case ended only in March of last year. Now, Brown has a new documentary in the works that focuses on his storied life. Directed by Andrew Sandler and produced by Riveting Entertainment, “Welcome to My Life” tracks his promising beginnings as well as his recent violent behavior. It will feature interviews with Jamie Foxx, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J Blige, and More. Watch the trailer above.
Though Chris Brown’s career has mostly been in the music industry, he has also had a minor acting career. In 2007, the same year as the release of his second album “Exclusive,” he appeared in two films: “Stomp The Yard” and “This Christmas.” He also appeared in three episodes of the popular teen drama “The O.C.” in which he played Will Tutt, a band geek who pursues a relationship with Kaitlin Cooper (Willa Holland). He has also appeared in “Think Like a Man” and “Battle of the Year.”
As of now, there is no release date set for “Welcome to My Life.”
