Indie PR Vet Liza Burnett Fefferman Moves To Viacom

After 17 years in indie film publicity, Liza Burnett Fefferman has crossed to the other side: On Monday, she’s joining Viacom as Senior VP Communications for VH1 and Logo.

Upcoming for VH1 are a television series based on the film “The Breaks,” and a show based on a book by Star Jones. Vanessa Williams is set to star in the series.

Fefferman joined RADiUS-TWC in June 2011, where she oversaw the company’s full slate of releases and award campaigns, including “20 Feet From Stardom,” “CITIZENFOUR,” “The Hunting Ground,” “Bachelorette,” “Snowpiercer” and “It Follows.” Before her time at RADiUS, Fefferman served as Senior VP Publicity for Samuel Goldwyn Films and Executive VP Publicity for The Weinstein Company.
