James Corden’s ‘Lemonade’ Spoof Is A Pitch-Perfect Beyonce Parody — Watch Video

James Corden’s ‘Lemonade’ Spoof Is A Pitch-Perfect Beyonce Parody -- Watch Video

Beyoncé made headlines this past weekend with her surprise visual album “Lemonade,” which debuted on HBO Saturday night. But on Monday’s edition of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” the host knocked his opening out of the park with a nearly four-minute spoof of the singer’s latest release.

James Corden opened his late-night show with “Lemonjames: A Visual Monologue,” in which he donned cornrows, a bright yellow dress and was cooking up some lemonade with a silk bra and underwear. The comedian referenced some of the note-worthy moments from Bey’s videos from the whispered voice-overs, title cards and smashing objects with a bat.

“I try to write a monologue for your night after night, even when we don’t have a show,” is the first thing Corden says. “I write a monologue but you don’t see that.”

The video continues with Corden in the bathtub, talking about making Donald Trump jokes and how they make him feel dirty, he talks about a new study involving single ladies, making lemonade and more.

One of his most comical moments comes when he does his own rendition of the “Becky with the good hair” line, interpreted as a reference to one of the women Jay-Z may have had a romantic relationship with: “Does that make you laugh like Jimmy with the good hair?,” teased Corden talking about him late-night rivals.

The video ends with the “Into The Woods” actor walking to the song “Hold Up” and smashing old televisions with a bat, a la Beyoncé.
