Logline: How does change happen? We go on a trip with Robert Reich outside the “bubble” to reach folks in the heartland of America to find out.
In “Saving Capitalism,” Robert Reich steps out of the liberal bubble, and goes on a road trip through the heartland of America. This is a journey within a journey — the emotional journey of Robert Reich traveling through America in the hopes of finding common ground, and the intellectual journey of discovering what American Capitalism is in time to save it.
We need your help. The time is now. Help us get this message out before the November 2016 election. In order to have the largest impact, we need you!

About the Film:
We’re shooting just as the presidential election is gearing up in one of the most ideologically rigid and economically divided times in our nation’s history, we’ll capture a crucial moment in our history. By reaching across the partisan divide we’ll reveal how much people from different backgrounds have in common, as we shine a bright light on how hard it is to discuss ideas without being put in a partisan box. Along the way, we’ll educate and entertain, and make a tremendously important contribution to raising the level of discourse at a time when our country sorely needs it.
Current Status: We’re in a race to finish the film before the 2016 Presidential Election. We’ve come to Kickstarter to raise the money we need in time.
