'Trailer Park Boys' Star Jonathan Torrens, Better Known As J-Roc, Leaving Show After 10 Seasons


Netflix’s popular Canadian mockumentary series “Trailer Park Boys” looks to be down yet another member. Now in its tenth season, the series, which revolves around a group of trailer park residents at the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Nova Scotia, recently lost star Lucy DeCoutere after fellow actor Mike Smith (who plays Bubbles on the show) was arrested in Los Angeles for misdemeanor domestic battery. Now long-time cast member Jonathan Torrens (who lays aspiring rapper J-Roc on the show) is departing the series. 

The site Jim Lahey Fans points to a series of tweets made by Torrens over the weekend that announced his departure:

Torrens has also appeared on on TV series like “Call Me Fitz,” “Mr. D,” “Street Cents,” “Jonovision” and “Wipeout Canada.”

“Trailer Park Boys” is now in its tenth season (Netflix began airing the series in its eighth season) and has spawned three additional films.
