Vote for March Project of the Month: Will It Be 'Ojos Tristes,' '@Bartschland,' 'Cuban Food Stories,' 'Banana Season,' 'The New 30' or 'Signature Move'?

The project which receives the most votes for Project of the Month will get a reported feature story about their project on Indiewire. From there, they will be in the running for Project of the Year.

Below are the six projects up for the prize. Click on the film title to learn more about each project (descriptions courtesy of the filmmakers):

Ojos Tristes: The coming out story of a gay Chicano boy, who lusts over men online while visiting his struggling-actress sister in Los Angeles.

@Bartschland: A feature documentary exploring NYC culture through the influence of nightlife legend Susanne Bartsch.

Cuban Food Stories: The first feature length documentary about food, society, and culture on the island of Cuba. A unique world of flavors and breathtaking locations like you have never seen before.

Banana Season: Not your average indie movie. “Banana Season” is about an unlikely friendship, two unexpected journeys and the magic that connects us all.

The New 30: A web series dramedy about a diverse group of gay friends discovering life in their 40s isn’t quite what they imagined it would be.

Signature Move: A Pakistani woman who takes care of her TV-obsessed mother seeks her identity in love and wrestling.
