Ariana Grande returned to the silver screen in a new horror film parody "Dog Face Filter," which was presented on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Thursday night. Meant to show the consequences of Snapchatting too much, the gag trailer shows the singer and a friend in their bedroom using various filters on the app. When they get to the popular puppy feature things change and Ariana gets put into a trance, obsessed with how cute she is.
"What began as a game, became a nightmare," the voice says. "I love being a dog," Ariana tells her friend as she becomes hypnotized and continues to use the feature obsessively. But by the end of the trailer she soon realizes that the dog tongue, ears and nose are now permanent because "some snaps are forever."
That same night Grande also performed her R&B hit "Dangerous Woman" with only a four-piece band, showcasing her impressive vocal skills. Her third studio album of the same name was also released this Friday, May 20.
The actress, who got her big break in Nickelodeon’s "Victorious," was last seen in "Zoolander 2" and had a previous role on the first season of Ryan Murphy’s Fox series "Scream Queens."
