Avengers Experience: The Russo Brothers Offer an 'Infinity War' Set Visit as an Indiegogo Reward

It may sound odd to hear “The Avengers” and “Indiegogo” in the same sentence, but rest assured that the Avengers Experience isn’t a crowdfunded superhero movie. Rather, it’s a perk for contributing to “Dizzy Pursuit,” a new comedy from writer/director/producer Jay Alvarez. The filmmaker’s “I Play With the Phrase Each Other” won the Special Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival two years ago and, it seems, caught the attention of the Russo Brothers. For the low, low price of $8,000, backers will have the chance to go on a set visit of the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War” with three of their friends.

“Captain America: Civil War” directors Anthony and Joe Russo are onboard Alvarez’s film as executive producers. Backers of “Dizzy Pursuit” at the $5,000 level will earn an Associate Producer credit near the filmmaking brothers’ credit. The set visit will be in Atlanta, where the Russos are shooting “Infinity War” between November 2016 and July 2017.

There are a couple caveats, however: The visit only lasts an hour, and contributors need to make their own way to the ATL. “Dizzy Pursuit” is a meta comedy set entirely in one room about a young couple whose attempt to cast their independent film are interrupted by unwanted visits from family members. Its crowdfunding target is $28,392.
