CANNES FOCUS: We want to connect with international filmmakers and industry to hear about all the new projects they’re working on…and the ones they wish they could be working on. We want to continue shouting out all the inspiring and impactful things happening in our world to press as well. Kickstarter allows artists to take creative risks and bring ambitious, passion projects to life on their own terms and to forge deeper connections with all kinds of communities who want to see a different kind of art. We’re here to help artists find their audiences, and vice versa, and to see what incredible things can be made as a result.
TIPS OF THE TRADE: Don’t be too stressed about trying to get into the fanciest party or the hot ticket premieres. You’ll meet all kinds of great people in the industry just drinking at the Majestic – or heck, even on the beach!
DAILY RITUALS: With so many exciting things going on at Cannes, being away from the laptop can be a hurdle sometimes. We have amazing live campaigns we’re all actively working on at all times, even while we are traveling and on the ground talking to industry. So we each strive hard to balance it all.
